Welcome to the Matson House, a charming seaside home in the hamlet of Elk.
The Matson House is located on Highway One, situated above the bluff overlooking the ocean.
The town beach, grocery store, Matson Mercantile, post office, and town-center is only a 10-minute walk south.

Cook up a good time
The Matson House has a very well equipped kitchen, with a gas stove, dishwasher, coffee maker(s), pots, pans knives and table wear. We are actualy rather proud of this.
Beauty everywhere
Views from every room, whether garden, mountain, or sea. You could almost get used to this, but trust us, that never quite happens.
A soundscape made for sleep
Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The Matson House sleeps 5 comfortably on two queen beds and one full bed. upstairs bathroom has a clawfoot tub, downstairs has a shower.
Internet service with streaming capability (~10 Mbps up and down), no television.
Local phone service only, cellular phone service is spotty.
The house is over 100 years old, so it is not without its eccentricities. This home is not wheelchair accessible (sorry, it was build in 1916).
